Hello! My name is Shannon. I am a SAHM of two beautiful children who are
the main inspiration for my layouts! My daughter is 5 years old and my
son is 3 years old. I have been married for over 6 years to my high
school sweetheart & love of my life.
I started scrapbooking almost 7 years ago when I attended a Creative
Memories event at my Aunt's house. I was addicted since day one! I have
been collecting memorabilia and taking TONS of photos for a good portion
of my life but am now preserving those memories safely. Before
scrapbooking, I was hopping from hobby to hobby and driving my DH crazy
in the process. Once my DH saw that I had found my calling he would
constantly surprise me with scrapping goodies...what an incentive! He is
the greatest I love creating beautiful pages- my scrapping style is
generally simple with some shabbiness thrown in there.
To me scrapbooking is a great form of therapy and I try to do something
scrap related everyday! About 3 years ago, I found my love for
rubberstamping and cardmaking - nothing is better than giving/receiving
handmade cards!

My name is Nikki and I have been scrapbooking for 5 years or
so. I scrap, make cards and alter items
in my spare time...pretty much all of my spare time!! I love to shop for
and
see all the latest and greatest items for scrapping and card making. I
can
never just browse, I must have, have, have!!!
My son, AJ is 11 and is the focus of many of my layouts. My husband,
Jeff, AJ
and I are also very active...sports, boating, motocross... so I have
lots of
things to scrap about!
My inspiration for my creations comes from many different places...ads,
colors,
decor, magazines, you name it...I can find some way to use it in a
layout or
card. I enjoy giving items that I make as gifts. Most of my cards and
altered
items are given as Birthday, Christmas, Hostess or "Just Because" gifts.
I have an entire room devoted to my scrapbooking and card making
addiction! I
could just about have my own store with what's there! When I first began
I
never thought it would amount to this, but what a fun surprise |

Hey, my name is Rachel Smith and I have been scrapbooking for a little
over
8 years now. I started after my son was born, and it quickly became an
addiction! I have always loved crafts and the arts and photography. So
scrapbooking really became the perfect hobby for me, it incorporates
photography, with family documentation and has room for artistic flair!
I
think one of the greatest things about scrapping is that you can add
your
own personality and style to each and every layout. It truly is an
expression of yourself and the things that are important to you.
I am a busy SAHM mom of 2 active boys, and I sometimes work for my DH. I
scrapbook whenever I get the chance, mostly at night after the boys are
in
bed. I am thrilled to be a part of the Cut Above Scrappin Team and look
forward to getting to know everyone here!! |

My name is Jennifer Hansen and I have been
married almost 12 years. I have two children, son Parker who is 6 and
daughter Emma who is 4 going on 14. We live in Indianola, Iowa which is
near Des Moines. My real job is being an accountant for a large finance
company and my dream job is to win the lottery and scrap full time! My
two children are my main scrap subjects, so I gravitate towards bright
colors. I'm addicted to chipboard, ribbons, flowers, brads, rubons,
scrap magazines, just to name a few! When not working, shuttling the
kids to their activities, scrapbooking, or supply collecting, I like to
read, play the piano and watch reality TV. I'm looking forward to
creating for Cut Above Scrappin'!

My "IRL" name is Shana. I am a mother of four. My kiddos are 17,13,
almost 6, and almost 3. I have been an elementary teacher for 9 years
now. I live in Texas with my wonderful husband who tolerates my
scrapbooking mess. I have been scrapbooking for about 4 years now. It is
my sanity, my creative outlet and my way of sharing memories with my
family. I am a paper hoarder, magazine fanatic, and embellishment
junkie. I can never have enough. I firmly believe that the one who dies
with the most scrapbooking supplies wins (not really!) I hope to share
my passion for art and memory preservation with you. So go grab your
